Simplifying Plan Submission Requirements (October 1, 2025)
Across Manitoba, land surveyors play a critical role in enabling timely land development, applying deep technical expertise and ensuring every detail aligns with the Instructions for Surveys and Plans (ISP).
At Teranet Manitoba, we understand the ISP can be complex. That’s why we’re launching a new series of practical resources designed to simplify submission requirements and help ensure survey plans are accepted efficiently by our offices.
Structured, checklist-based guides tailored to ISP requirements for common plan types will be released over the coming months. These guides can be submitted in place of a cover letter, helping to streamline workflows.
The first resource—a Plan of Subdivision Submission Guide—is available now in draft form for surveyors’ use and feedback.
